Confidence

Confidence is half of the game. Most women are impressed simply by the sheer ability of a guy to carry himself well. In the same way, nothing turns women off more that a man who is not sure of himself. Women dream of being swept off their feet by a gallant prince-charming. Never in those dreams, however, was the prince charming timid man fumbling with his words.

Be confident, this is not as easy as the two words it takes to say it. But it is completely doable in time. In order to be a confident cat, you have to remember that, “All is fair in love or war.” It doesn’t matter if the next guy drives a Ferrari or has a Harvard Law degree. You have to remember that there are a million things about yourself that are yours alone. In order to seem confident, you have to be confident. There’s no two-ways about it.

When you are feeling insecure think about all of the things that only you can do or that you do best. Maybe you have mastered shooting hoops from the half court line, or maybe you can juggle ten bananas at once. These are small things you can draw confidence from. When you feel like you’re the lesser man, remember all of the things that you do that the other guy cannot. But as much as possible, try not to compare yourself to other people altogether. When you compare yourself to others, not only do make yourself envy, you also limit yourself with the good they can do. Try to find your confidence within yourself.

However, confidence sometimes comes dangerously close to arrogance. Be very careful not to cross this fine line. Never brag or name-drop, this only makes you look like a jerk. Remember that no matter how good you are, you do not have the right to look down at other people. Condescension is not confidence, its arrogance.

One of the key elements in dating is being confident. This confidence does not mean believing that you are better than everyone else; it simply means believing in your own self worth. Never put yourself down nor toot your own horn.

Confidence is one of the best turn-ons for men. Most of them factor it in how sexy a woman is. This is one of the things every women need to exude in everything she does. Unfortunately, it’s a hard thing to do for many girls out there. This is because self doubt and insecurity is such rampant condition among the women of today.

Women tend to compare themselves to perfectly airbrushed super models. This little activity almost always ends up with the woman finding herself inadequate. Confidence suffers from major blows daily especially with the prevailing culture of obsession and fixation on perfection. What most women do not understand is that nobody is as perfect as the cover of Cosmopolitan Magazine, not even the cover page model herself. And besides, the cliché “beauty is in the eye of the beholder”, is as true as it is old.

Each woman has her own brand of beauty so there is no use comparing yourself with anybody else. Confidence comes with the understanding that you are beautiful in your own way. When you’re feeling insecure, it shows in your every action. There’s no way you can effectively fake confidence, because insecurity shows in your actions. When you feel inadequate, take a look at yourself in the mirror and find something about yourself that you like. Find your assets and play them up. These little things that make you feel good about yourself bring you closer to exuding that magnetic confidence that makes men swoon.

As much and as often as possible, enhance your assets. This not only makes you look more beautiful but it also boosts your confidence. Knowing that your best feature is highlighted, it makes you feel confident with the way you look.

A word to the wise however, you must never seem overconfident, bordering on arrogant. Men like to see a little vulnerability in a woman because it makes them all the more manly. Arrogance or overconfidence sometimes come off as snobbish and thwarts whatever good thing you might have had going on. Be the right amount of confident always.
